EP 9171 (ETS Platinum) Departs Bukit Mertajam at 05:26 - Arrives in KL Sentral at 09:20 (Operates Daily).
EP 9173 (ETS Platinum) Departs Bukit Mertajam at 06:41 - Arrives in KL Sentral at 10:35 (Operates Daily).
EG 9321 (ETS Gold) Departs Bukit Mertajam at 08:01 - Arrives in KL Sentral at 12:10. (Operates Daily)
EX 9107 (ETS Express) Departs Bukit Mertajam at 13:15 - Arrives in KL Sentral at 16:40 (Operates Daily).
EP 9177 (ETS Platinum) Departs Bukit Mertajam at 16:16 - Arrives in KL Sentral at 20:10 (Operates Daily).
EP 9179 (ETS Platinum) Departs Bukit Mertajam at 18:56 - Arrives in KL Sentral at 22:50 (Operates Daily).
All Platinum trains on this route are now operated by the newer ETS2 train that have a Business Class carriage available.

Fares for the train from BM to KL vary depending on what type of service you take.
ETS Gold Services (EG numbered trains) are the cheaper of the two options with tickets costing:
Adult: 58 RM - Children: 33 RM
ETS Platinum Services (EP numbered trains) are slightly faster as they have fewer stops along the route. Tickets for these trains cost:
Adult: 77 RM - Children: 43 RM
The new ETS Express trains cost approximately 7 RM more than Platinum.
Please note: Now KTM has a new Flexi Fare system, the prices shown above should be used as a guide only and will vary for each service. If you want to get the cheaper fares - Book your seats as far in advance as you can.

As this is on the very popular Butterworth to Kuala Lumpur route, trains are often full, so we would advise you to buy your tickets as far in advance as possible, especially if you want to travel over the weekend or on public / school holidays.
