The 4/5 star Parkroyal Hotel in Batu Ferrighi beach, Penang is a luxury beach resort which has recently undergone an upgrade / renovation of all its guest accommodations.

The 4 star Golden Sands Hotel Penang by the Shangri-La group is located on Batu Ferringhi beach in the north of Penang Island.

A beach front resort in 2 parts. A high rise across the road and a low rise beach wing right on the beach, the 4 star Holiday Inn Penang offers 358 rooms and suites, with sea or hill views.

There are two distinct areas of the hotel.

The Beach Wing is right on the beach front and is a seven storey building and the much taller Ferringhi Tower which is 23 storeys high, is located just over the road.

Both areas of the property can be reached by using a covered walkway that crosses over the road.

All the hotels guest rooms were renovated in 2010, and the least expensive rooms are the Standard Rooms located in the Tower building. These rooms offer either a view to the rear overlooking the lush mountains of Penang island or a sea view.

The Bayview Beach Hotel has a selection of room types, from the Standard to Superior and Deluxe Rooms as well as larger family Rooms and luxury Suites.
