KTM Komuter trains in Malaysia are only available to book on the day of travel.
There is no seat reservation available as seating is on a first-come, first-served basis (just like travelling on a tube or subway train).
Anak Bukit is a relatively quiet station, with the busiest section of the line just south of here between Alor Setar / Sungai Petani / BM / Butterworth (so you have a relatively good chance of getting a seat when travelling from Anak Bukit).
